Mr Bamford
My name is Mr Bamford and I am the Year 3 class teacher.
This is my first year teaching at St Andrews, having qualified as a teacher from Edge Hill University. I am passionate about fostering a love of learning across all the subjects in school. I have a particular love of reading and am always excited to introduce the children to new authors, discovering and sharing books together and encouraging reading for pleasure. Learning through IT and computing is another interest of mine, and having taught with a specialist Educational IT company for the last 3 years, I am eager to utilise the skills and experience I have to enrich the children’s learning.
Out of school I enjoy outdoor life, walking in the countryside, taking part in charity runs and finding new off-road cycling routes.
Mrs. Standen
We are very lucky to have Mrs. Standen with us in Class 3 this year, who should be very familiar to most of you. Mrs. Standen has worked at St. Andrews for over 15 years and has worked across many different year groups. She likes walking her two dogs and socialising with her friends.
