Supporting Families and Children

My role at St Andrew’s is to provide support to both our children and families, helping to ensure that everyone in our school community feels listened to, valued and supported.

I am a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and work closely with families and other professionals to ensure that children receive the appropriate support when needed. As part of this role, I attend multi-agency meetings and work alongside external services to help coordinate support for our families.

I am also a qualified Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA). In this role, I provide individual and small-group support to children, helping them to develop their emotional and social skills, build confidence and resilience, and understand and manage their feelings.

If you feel that you or your child would benefit from support, or if you would simply like to talk through a concern, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am always happy to listen and help wherever I can.
